Pacifism is not outright idiotic, but a rather nice idea; major weakness is the lack of an alternative to deterrence.
A lot of people are too naive!!! I can not believe that our goverment is releasing our "torture" tactics to the world! We are really that stupid?
The protection of peace is a delicate affair that requires a lot of thought & doesn't suit itself well to simple answers.
I don't know about you but being "HIPPIE" doesn't mean that you have to support socialism. I still want to be free without the "BIG BROTHER
